Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp tea leaves
  • 2 tsp sugar (or as per taste)
  • 1 small piece of crushed ginger

  • 1 kulhad (earthen cup) for tandoori flavor

Steps to Make Tandoori Chai

  1. Boil water, add tea leaves, sugar, and crushed ginger.
  2. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until color deepens.
  3. Add milk and cardamom, then boil for another 3 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a kulhad (earthen cup) directly on the gas flame until very hot.
