2 cups basmati rice 1/2 cup yogurt

1 teaspoons garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup chopped mint
1/4 cup fried onion
1/2 cup oil
Marinate the chicken in the yogurt ginger garlic paste lemon juice red chilli powder garam masala turmeric powder coriander powder cumin powder cardamom powder
Black pepper powder and salt for at least
30 minutes or overnight
2 rinse the basmati rice in a bowl of water until the water runs clear soak the rice in water for at least 30 minutes
3 Heat the oil in a large pot or pressure cooker over medium heat add the marinated chicken and cook until brown

8 if cooking in a pressure cooker, cook
On high pressure for 3 whistles, then reduce then heat to low and cook for
10 minutes
9 Ones the biryani is cooked remove

10 fluff the biryani with a fork and serve garnished with cilantro, mint, and fried onions
